The Godfather Of SD Design Community

Reflecting on Graphic design class meetup with Mr. Miriello.  I arrived to he's studio in Barrio Logan, newly gentrified area, artistic, industrial with cultural roots. Miriello greeted us one by one with handwritten blue name tags. At first glance I thought he was a starving artist. Shame on me for not researching the man for goodness sakes . As he spoke he was all over the place, jumping from subject to subject. Nevertheless, still intrigued on what he had to say. He had an aura of brilliances. As I looked around the small intimate studio I noticed how some of my classmates were memorized & in awe. He was a humble man and down played his accomplishments as my classmates asked him questions about his latest projects. His studio was a comfortable work environment with refurbished Italian bikes hanging from the wall. He went on to talk about his creative process.
